National Brass Band Championship 2024.
It will take place from Friday, January 26, to Sunday, January 28, 2024. This 19th edition will be held at the Congress Center in Valenciennes.

The National Brass Band Championship has been organized every year since 2004.
This annual gathering is a fantastic moment of meetings, exchanges, and discoveries that brings together several hundred musicians of all ages and backgrounds in a friendly atmosphere of sharing with the public. It allows orchestras from all over France to come together and perform in front of an international panel of experts, and the audience to discover young musicians and a musical genre born in the United Kingdom in the 19th century. For two days, the Championship aims to be the flagship event for the values defended by the CMF: living together, mutual aid, social diversity, and inclusion.

Friday, January 26, 2024: In the evening, Opening Concert (8:00 PM) • Junior Brass Band conducted by Florent DIDIER • Final of the composition competition by the Infantry Music under the direction of Martial DRAPEAU • Mass Brass with the Junior Brass Band and the Infantry Music • Ceremony of the composition competition results under the guidance of the jury: Florent DIDIER (President), Thierry DELERUYELLE, and Ludovic NEUROHR.
Saturday, January 27, and Sunday, January 28, 2024: National Championship for Honor, 1, 2, 3, and 4 divisions The jury will be chaired by Ludovic NEUROHR, and the assessors will be Erik JANSSEN and Benjamin RICHETON.
Saturday, January 27, 2024: 1st Championship Day: Start of the championship (9:00 AM) • 1st division (compulsory work) • 2nd division • 1st division (free choice work)
Gala concert in the evening (8:30 PM, duration 2 hours): Whitburn Band (world #7)
Sunday, January 28, 2024: 2nd Championship Day: Start of the championship (8:45 AM) • 3rd division • Honor division (compulsory work) • 4th division • Honor division (free choice work)
Closing ceremony and announcement of championship results (6:30 PM)
