The National Brass Band Championship has been organized annually since 2004.

This major annual gathering is a wonderful opportunity for meetings, exchanges, and discoveries, bringing together several hundred musicians of all ages and backgrounds in a friendly and sharing atmosphere with the public. It allows orchestras from across France to come together and perform before a jury of international experts, while the public discovers young musicians and a musical genre born in the United Kingdom in the 19th century. Over two days, the Championship embodies the values promoted by the CMF: togetherness, mutual support, social diversity, and inclusion.
